As of February 22nd, AT&T will be ending the support of 3G devices on their network. To mitigate the impact of this change to our cellular enabled devices, Tosibox recommends that any edge nodes (locks) with cellular capabilities be updated to the latest software. This software update will provide correct modem settings to ensure the modem will continue operation after this AT&T transition. This also includes edge nodes (locks) that use an external modem via USB. Make sure your edge nodes have the automatic updates enabled and you will receive the correct firmware patch without user intervention.
Instructions for updating the edge node (lock) software can be found here: https://helpdesk.tosibox.com/support/solutions/articles/2100034055-how-to-update-the-lock-software
Please note that after this update the following modems will not be supported on the AT&T network:
- MultiTech MTC-H5-B03 (Product code TB3GM5)
- Huawei MS2131i-8 (Product code TB3GM2M)
