How to restrict Key access on Lock network

Modified on Mon, 21 Feb 2022 at 08:09 AM

To restrict a Key access to certain devices on Lock network, you need to enable MAC / IP Filter on Advanced Settings:

Select “Enable IP/MAC filter” checkbox on “LAN access settings section” and then select the default policy for unlisted Keys:

  • Allow: unlisted Keys can access all devices on Lock LAN – only list Keys that you want to restrict access
  • Deny: unlisted Keys do not have access to any device – only list Keys that you want to have access

Next, list either

  • single IP address or a MAC address for selected Key(s) or All Keys – the IP 10.54.69.200 in the example is accessible to Key named “Backup Key”.
  • an IP address range for selected Key(s) or All Keys – 10.10.4.128/26 in the example gives access to all devices in the range of 10.10.4.129 – 10.10.4.190 to Key named “Backup Key”

Finally save the settings before navigating away from the page, the settings will take effect immediately.
