My Key does not serialize my Lock via USB port

Background

Tosibox USB Keys are needed to serialize new Locks via the USB port.  Sometimes newer Key models will not serialize Locks with older firmware.  


Resolution

In this case, the user will need to enter the Lock via the LAN or Service port (172.17.17.17) and update the Lock software.  


NOTE: the Lock will need access to the internet by broadband, WIFI, or cellular so that it can connect to Tosibox's secure update servers.

The following table outlines the Key version and minimum required Lock Software.  The Key ID is the first two letters of the Key serial number found on the USB Key nameplate:
